What makes up a discount?

Business Information

  1. The Decision Makers Name - The person who agreed to the discount as written and is responsible for honoring the discount. This is usually the owner or manager.

  2. The Decision Makers Email Address - You and Starjeta will need to confirm with the decision maker that the discount is real and will be honored at the store locations provided.

  3. The Discount - The agreed upon wording for the offer made by the decision maker to the users of the card.

  4. The Address(s) - Store location or locations where the discounts can be redeemed by users.

The rest of the information

  1. The Expiration Date - The expiration date you chose when you first created the card. You can change this any time before you publish the card.

  2. The Fine Print - Every discount will have default fine print that will give context and limitations to the use and redemption of most discounts. Additional limitations and context can be added into the discount wording itself.

How should I reach out to businesses?

There are three main methods to approach businesses.

  • Stop in - go to the business, walk in the door, introduce yourself and ask for the manager and give them your pitch.

  • Phone call - pick up your phone, dial the number, introduce yourself and ask for the manager and give them your pitch.

  • Email - collect email accounts, open up email, write out your pitch, send it, follow up.
